
Explanation for Friesian & Gypsy Driving Class - Hope this helps Carriage Driving - is for "carriage-type" horses - must be shown to a safe 2 or 4 wheel cart or carriage and either no-check or loose side-check bridle (over-checks are not acceptable). Classes are for pleasure horses with ground-covering gaits and are judged at the walk, trot and extended trot. An optional halt on the rail (with horse standing quietly) and backing in the line up are at the judges discretion. Apron, hat, gloves and whip in hand are required. |
