Free Mini Clinic - Sunday at the Afternoon Break
Felicia Britt began like many of us; a young girl with a little horse and a big dream. Her devotion to horses began early and through a lifetime of observation, as
well as 20+ years as a trainer and instructor, she has developed a deep understanding of the social structure, natural instincts and quiet communication of horses.
Through her B.R.A.I.N. Horsemanship Techniques, Felicia addresses the equine will as the basis for all communication. Her step-by-step method equips others
with the necessary tools to build confidence, courage, and self-control not only in the horse, but the owner as well. Whether your interest is performance, halter, or a
backyard superstar, Felicia shares her unique horsemanship training with commonsense explanations and a down-home sense of humor.
B.R.A.I.N. Horsemanship with Felicia Britt This year’s clinic focus: HALTER/SHOWMANSHIP: Preparation Practice Presentation
Explanation for Friesian driving Classes - Hope this helps
Show Driving - is for "show-type" horses - must use a two wheel, wire-wheeled or wooden-wheeled cart and an over-check or side-check bridle. Class to be judged on
brilliance and animation at the walk, trot and extended trot. Backing in the line up is at the judges discretion. Whip and gloves are required.
Carriage Driving - is for "carriage-type" horses - must be shown to a safe 2 or 4 wheel cart or carriage and either no-check or loose side-check bridle (over-checks are not
acceptable). Classes are for pleasure horses with ground-covering gaits and are judged at the walk, trot and extended trot. An optional halt on the rail (with horse standing
quietly) and backing in the line up are at the judges discretion. Apron, hat, gloves and whip in hand are required.
